We continue to monitor Tropical Depression 9.

In preparation for potentially severe weather, Shell safely shut in production at the Coulomb field following the shut in of associated downstream oil and gas gathering systems and receipt points. The Coulomb field is 100% owned by Shell and produces back to the Na Kika platform, which is operated by BP (50%) and co-owned by Shell (50%).

Production is currently unaffected at all other Shell-operated assets.

Our priorities are the safety of personnel, protecting the environment and minimizing operational impact.

Please contact the BP press office for any questions around the operational status of Na Kika.

Please visit the Destin Pipeline Company website for more information and updates around the operational status of oil and gas gathering systems and receipt points: https://bp.trellisenergy.com/ptms/home.do
