Shell and Tri-state Bird Rescue
For over 20 years, Shell’s continued support of Tri-State Bird Rescue and Research has helped save thousands of birds’ lives every year.
Shell is committed to protecting the environment and uses a range of approaches, such as working with specialized wildlife groups like Tri-State to help preserve, protect, and restore the communities near our operations. Tri-State is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that specializes in the rehabilitation of injured, orphaned, and oiled native wild birds.
Their extensive research and experience has made them one of the top, oiled wildlife responders in the U.S. and one of Shell’s preferred partners for wildlife emergency response efforts. Tri- State’s Oiled Wildlife Response team is on call 24/7 to help companies such as Shell in case of an incident.
Shell engages with a variety of non-government organizations across the US.
