Shell Norco Fulfills Wishes for Three Local Children

Norco raised over $51,000 during its Back in Black turnaround—tied to strong safety performance—to fund Make‑A‑Wish trips for three local children: Allison, Shelby, and Zayden. The kids enjoyed Disney vacations and were given special “bon voyage” gifts. VP Tammy Little said the partnership inspires the team to work safely while bringing joy to families.

Air Force Firefighter Brings Experience to Norco

Emergency Response Team Lead Jamie Latiolais credits the Air Force with giving him direction, discipline, and a lifelong career in firefighting. After joining the military at a young age, he trained as a firefighter, served at Rhein Main Air Base, and traveled widely, gaining exposure to diverse cultures and approaches to emergency response. His military experience, ongoing education, and commitment to continuous learning shaped his path to Norco, where he now coordinates incident response. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and time with his two children.

Around the Neighborhood: Serving Our Community

Norco recently partnered with the Matthew 25:35 Food Pantry for a day of service. Fourteen volunteers supported the organization’s distribution efforts by unloading trucks, setting up food stations, and loading vehicles for area families.

Shell Norco Celebrates 95th Anniversary at Wetland Watchers Park

95th Shell Volunteers partnered with the Pontchartrain Conservancy to plant 1,000 trees in nearby Wetland Watchers Park to help fortify the shoreline and create new wildlife habitat.

Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality Secretary Aurelia S. Giacometto Visits Shell Norco

Secretary Giocometto toured upgrades to the Shell Norco facility and visited with site workers to learn about investments to reduce emissions and enhance infrastructure.
