Norco recently partnered with the Matthew 25:35 Food Pantry for a day of service. Fourteen volunteers supported the organization’s distribution efforts by unloading trucks, setting up food stations, and loading vehicles for area families.
“Through this collective effort, we helped serve nearly 70 families — a total of 170 individuals,“ says Safety Specialist and volunteer Quienna Jackson. “It was truly a feel good day from start to finish and a great example of Shell’s commitment to caring for our communities through teamwork and service.“
With coordination led by PEI Engineer and United Way/HERO Committee member James Hamilton, the event was made possible with help from volunteers Douglas Skarke, Corban Burch, Sonya Robertson, Quienna Jackson, Joe Bob LaFleur, Rene Langlois, Travis Alford, Brett Guidry, Gautam Muralidhar, Kelly Martin, Keith Maurin, and Mary Gravois.
