The visit highlighted the ongoing collaboration that drives sustainable environmental practices and economic prosperity in the River Region. Norco employees provided a comprehensive tour of the site, highlighting innovative technologies and the company’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint. The visit underscored the importance of balancing economic growth with responsible stewardship of Louisiana’s natural resources.

For nearly a century, Shell Norco has been the cornerstone of St. Charles Parish’s economy and community,” said Norco General Manager Tammy Little. “We don't take our partnership with the local community for granted; we're constantly challenging ourselves to find new, innovative ways to reduce emissions and minimize environmental impacts for our neighbors.

Together, we're providing the fuel and chemical products our world needs, improving quality of life in the River Parishes, and reducing our environmental footprint.”
