Greg Willms

After 33 years with Shell, Deer Park Vice President Greg Willms has elected to retire with his last day being March 31, 2020. The next Vice President for Deer Park will be Brenda Stout. Brenda who is currently Vice President Manufacturing Support and Excellence, and Ventures will take over from Greg on April 1, 2020, following a handover in March.

Brenda joined Shell as an experienced hire in 2006, and has held a number of senior leadership roles including the General Manager role at two manufacturing sites, at Bukom in Singapore and Mobile in Alabama, as well as the roles of Production Manager at the Martinez Refinery in California, General Manager of Manufacturing Strategy, as well as her current role as Vice President Manufacturing Support and Excellence, and Ventures. Throughout her career she has demonstrated her ability to inspire a high performance culture & align the organization towards a common vision, and is recognized as a leader with the commitment and dedication to demonstrate servant leadership. 

Reflecting on his time at Shell Deer Park, Greg told employees, “I am very proud and honored to have been associated with all of you over the past while…especially during the lead-up to and the successful execution of our Big Block Turnaround. It’s also been great to see progress being made in several other important areas of our operation and business. Especially impressive to me was seeing this team working together and delivering great things. I honestly believe there isn’t anything you can’t achieve through your collective efforts.”
