Disturbance #12/Tropical Storm Barry: Shell Deepwater Gulf of Mexico Operations Update #3
Jul 12, 2019
Shell continues to monitor and respond to Disturbance #12, which has now been upgraded to Tropical Storm Barry, in the Gulf of Mexico. Non-essential personnel have been evacuated from 7 of our potentially affected assets. All rig operations have also been secured. Though we continue to plan for potential impacts to midstream and downstream operations nearshore and shoreside along the Louisiana coast, there have been minimal impacts to oil and gas production for Shell in the Gulf as a result of this weather disturbance. We will continue to monitor weather reports, taking further action if necessary.
