Can I Extend the Validity of My Shell Fuel Rewards® Savings?
Shell Fuel Rewards® savings cannot be extended. Each reward has a fixed expiration date, typically 30 days from the date it was earned.
You can view your reward expiration dates by logging into your Shell Fuel Rewards® account via Shell App or at FuelRewards.com.
✅ Tip: To avoid missing out, use your rewards before they expire.
Why Didn’t I Receive Additional Rewards After a Dining or In-Store Promotion?
If expected rewards didn’t appear after a qualifying purchase, consider the following:
Possible Reasons:
- Payment Method Not Linked: Your credit or debit card must be linked to your Shell Fuel Rewards® account to earn rewards.
- Timing of Reward Posting: Some rewards may take a few days to appear in your account.
- Correct Shell Fuel Rewards® Account in Use: Ensure Shell Fuel Rewards® account with the received discount is the one linked to your Shell App
What You Can Do:
- Confirm your payment method is linked in your Shell Fuel Rewards® account.
- Check the merchant’s participation status at FuelRewards.com.
- Wait a few days and check your account again.

Why Didn’t My Membership Status Update After a Fill-Up?
If your status (e.g., Silver to Gold) didn’t change after fueling, it may be due to:
- Minimum Fill-Up Requirement Not Met: Most status upgrades require a minimum of 10 gallons per fill-up.
- Shell Fuel Rewards® Account Not Used Properly: Ensure you activated your rewards or used Shell App mobile payment during the transaction.
- Non-Participating Station: Not all Shell stations participate in the Shell Fuel Rewards® program.
- System Delay: Status updates may take a few days to reflect.
- Technical or Syncing Issues: App or account syncing problems may delay updates.
Can I Add a Recent Receipt or Transaction to the Shell App?
Currently, the Shell App does not support manual entry of receipts or transactions; however, you can see all your loyalty transactions in the app whether you:
- Entered a Shell Fuel Rewards® Alt ID or paid with a linked credit card at the pump or inside the store
- Completed a Shell mobile pay transaction
- Completed a transaction at Shell Fuel Rewards® participating Shell stations
All above will be automatically tracked and reflected in your transaction history.

Why Can’t I See My Rewards or Balance in the Shell App?
If your rewards or balance does not appear in the Shell App, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
1. Shell Fuel Rewards® Account Not Properly Linked
- If your Shell Fuel Rewards® account isn’t linked, your rewards, lifetime savings, and status level (Gold/Silver/Platinum) will not be visible in the app.
- To check: Open the Shell App and look for your lifetime savings on the homepage. If it’s missing, try re-linking your account through the app settings.
2. Technical Issues Affecting App Sync
Occasionally, the app may not sync correctly due to:
- Poor internet connection
- Outdated app version
- Temporary server issues
Try restarting the app or checking for updates to resolve these issues.
Why Am I Seeing a Dash or Zero Balance in My Rewards?
A dash or zero balance may indicate:
- Connection issue, please refresh and try again

Why Isn’t My Fill-Up Counting Toward the 4-Fill-Up Tracker?
To qualify for the 4-fill-up tracker and earn rewards such as bonus savings or status upgrades, your transaction must meet the following criteria:
Eligibility Requirements:
- Use the Shell App during your transaction. Pay using any payment method in the app
- Meet the minimum fuel requirement. Most promotions require a minimum of 10 gallons per fill-up to qualify.
- Fuel at a participating Shell station. Majority of Shell locations participate in Shell Fuel Rewards® program, but some may not. Look for signage or confirm with the station attendant.
Common Reason: App Not Used During Fill-Up
If you did not use the Shell App during your transaction, your fill-up may not have been registered toward the tracker. To ensure eligibility, always activate your discount or pay through the Shell App before fueling

If your fill-up still isn’t counting:
- Restart the Shell App to refresh your account status.
- Update your apps to the latest version.
- Check your transaction receipt to confirm the discount was applied.
- Verify station participation in the Shell Fuel Rewards® program.

Once you register with the Shell App, you'll automatically become a Shell Fuel Rewards® member—no extra steps needed!
Download the Shell App from the App Store or Google Play Store.
For Existing Shell App users and Shell Fuel Rewards® Members:
To link your account:
- Open the Shell App on your mobile device.
- On the home screen, tap the banner that says, “Save 10¢ per gal with every fill-up.”
- You’ll be redirected to the Sign In page.
- Enter your Shell Fuel Rewards® email and password to log in.
- Once successfully linked, your current discount and lifetime savings will be displayed on the Shell App homepage.
For Existing Shell App users but not a Shell Fuel Rewards® Member:
To link your account:
- Open the Shell App on your mobile device.
- On the home screen, tap the banner that says, “Save 10¢ per gal with every fill-up.”
- You’ll be redirected to the Shell Fuel Rewards® registration page following the rest of the registration process.
- Once successfully linked, your current discount and lifetime savings will be displayed on the Shell App homepage.

How Do I Unlink My Shell Fuel Rewards® Account from the Shell App?
Shell Fuel Rewards® is integrated into the Shell App experience. If you wish to unlink your Shell Fuel Rewards® account, you will need to delete your Shell App account. Please note that this action will not delete your Shell Fuel Rewards® account itself. To proceed, follow these steps:
Steps to Delete Your Shell App Account:
- Open the Shell App on your mobile device.
- Navigate to the “More icon (• • •)”.
- Tap “My Account”
- Select “Delete Account".
- Type in your password to confirm the deletion of your Shell App account.
Important Note:
Deleting your Shell App account will permanently remove your profile, including any linked Shell Fuel Rewards® account, payment methods, and personal preference.

How will the Shell Fuel Rewards tier work with the 10cpg rollback?
If customer uses their Shell S Pay in their Shell App at participating Shell sites, they will receive 10cpg for both Gold and Silver Status and 15CPG for Platinum.
How does the Shell S Pay discount work?
3 Easy Steps:
- Customers must enroll or link their existing Shell Fuel Rewards account to the Shell App.
- Customers should enroll in Shell S Pay by linking their checking account within the app.
- Customers must use Shell S Pay in the Shell App at participating Shell sites to purchase fuel and will receive an immediate pump rollback of 10cpgfor both Gold and Silver Status and 15CPG for Platinum.
Important Details of the Promotion:
- Shell S Pay Offer is an instant savings (not an earn-and-burn promo).
- All rewards earned are stackable with Shell S Pay
- No minimum gallon required.
- Maximum gallon of fill up is 20 gallons.
- The FR balance displayed on the Shell App home screen/transaction confirmation will not reflect the 10cpg because at this point, the app does not know which payment method will be used on the transaction. Once Shell S pay is used, the pump will roll back the fill 10cpg.

If your discount didn’t apply at the pump, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
1. Shell Fuel Rewards® Account Not Properly Linked. Ensure your Shell Fuel Rewards® account is correctly linked to the Shell App. You should see your lifetime savings and membership status (Gold or Silver or Platinum) displayed on the Shell App homepage once linked successfully.
2. Your Grocer Rewards is not linked to your Shell Fuel Rewards® Account. The following grocers can be linked with the Shell Fuel Rewards program, please reach out to your participating Grocer on how to link:
- Stop and Shop: Member’s must link their Shell Fuel Rewards account through their Stop & Shop online account, www.stopandshop.com or by phone 1-800-767-7772. If members have any issues linking their account, they need to contact Stop & Shop member support for further assistance.
- Giant: Member’s link their Shell Fuel Rewards account through their Giant Food online account, https://giantfood.com or by phone 1-888-469-4426. If members have any issues linking their account, they need to contact Giant member support for further assistance.
- Hy-Vee: Member will log into Shell Fuel Rewards account and go to manage loyalty accounts and add Hy-vee card. If members have any issues linking their account, they need to contact Shell Fuel Rewards member support for further assistance.
- Save Mart: Member’s link their Shell Fuel Rewards account through Shell Fuel Rewards Mobile app account and go to Earn more tab and scroll to Partner offers and look for Save Mart/ Lucky. If members have any issues linking their account, they need to contact Shell Fuel Rewards member support for further assistance.

If you're still not receiving your discount, try the following:
- Restart the Shell App: Close and reopen the app to refresh your account status.
- Re-link Your Shell Fuel Rewards® Account: Go to the Shell App settings and re-authenticate your Shell Fuel Rewards® login.
- Update Your Apps: Ensure both the Shell App and Shell Fuel Rewards® App are updated to the latest version.
- Check Station Participation: Not all Shell stations participate in the Shell Fuel Rewards® program. Look for signage or ask the station attendant.
- Verify Transaction Details: Confirm that you used Shell S Pay or entered your Alt ID at the pump before fueling.
