Electricians in the petrochemical industry work as part of a team responsible for handling daily tasks to ensure safe installation, testing and repairs of all types of electrical and electronic equipment and systems. You perform electrical work throughout the facility utilizing diagrams and other technical information. Strong math and science skills required.
Two-year degree from a technical or vocational school or electrical apprenticeship. Equivalent years of military service may be acceptable, in lieu of experience.
