EF 2.5 Range :30 Transcript
(0:00) [Sound of a low hum, like a drone]
(0:00) Video footage: A blurred close-up of a person's face, looking up and to the right. In the background, out of focus, a drone with a protective cage hovers against a bright sky.
(0:01) [Sound of a drone whirring]
(0:01) Video footage: The person's face comes into focus. It's a woman wearing a helmet with earmuffs and a microphone. She looks up with a determined expression.
(0:02) On-screen Super: Tori G. Drone Operator for Shell
(0:03) Narrator: This is Tori. Today, she's helping Shell provide reliable energy for Americans.
(0:03) Video footage: Tori, dressed in a red jumpsuit and helmet, stands on an offshore oil rig, operating a drone with a remote control. The drone hovers above her.
(0:04) Video footage: An aerial shot looking straight down at the offshore oil rig, showing its yellow structures and the deep blue water below.
(0:05) Video footage: A wide shot of the offshore oil rig in the middle of the ocean under a clear blue sky that pans and transitions up into the clouds.
(0:07) Narrator: Progress at Shell is also up here.
(0:07) Video footage: An airplane is seen from behind, flying upwards through a cloudy, golden sky, illuminated by the sun.
(0:09) Video footage: A Shell fuel truck is parked next to a large airplane on an airport tarmac. A worker on a scissor lift is positioned under the wing of the plane. Text on truck reads “Blended with Sustainable Aviation Fuel”.
(0:10) Narrator: In sustainable aviation fuel.
(0:11) Video footage: A close-up shot from below shows a worker connecting a fuel hose to the underside of an airplane wing. Text on the wing reads "JET FUEL MAX PRESSURE 50 P.S.I. 3.5 BARS MAX SUCTION 11 P.S.I. 0.8 BAR".
(0:12) Video footage: A pilot, wearing a headset, looks intently forward in the cockpit of an airplane.
(0:13) Video footage: A close-up of a person's hand pushing forward on an airplane's control stick.
(0:14) Narrator: Powering partners like Delta Air Lines.
(0:14) Video footage: A large Delta Airlines airplane takes off, seen from directly below, against a clear blue sky. Its landing gear is extended.
(0:16) Video footage: A side view of a woman smiling seated in the window seat of the plane typing on her computer, with the sun illuminating through the clouds in the plane window.
(0:16) Video footage: A close-up of the woman’s hands typing on a laptop keyboard, illuminated by the screen. The image is slightly blurred with light flares.
(0:17) Narrator: And even here.
(0:17) Video footage: A close-up of a computer screen displaying lines of code.
(0:18) Narrator: When AI computing runs hot.
(0:18) Video footage: A young woman and a young man are in a room, looking at computer monitors. The woman is standing and leaning over, pointing at something on the screen, while the man sits and observes.
(0:19) Video footage: A computer screen displays a 3D model of a cone-like object or racecar with heat mapping, along with various data points and numbers.
(0:20) Video footage: A close-up of a computer screen showing a "Test Run Simulation 3.9" with numbers changing rapidly for both TORS-PHCH and PASSED/FAILED NODES.
(0:21) Video footage: A close-up of a computer screen displaying technical data sifts through quickly.
(0:22) Video footage: A brief close-up of a computer circuit board with various components is glowing and we see it might be a server rack.
(0:22) Video footage: Water rises from an inside view of a server rack in a cool blue color.
(0:23) Narrator: Shell's immersion fluids cool it down.
(0:23) Video footage: A woman in safety glasses and gloves is slowly lowering tech equipment, possibly a server rack, into a cool blue liquid. To the right of the liquid tank, a Shell logo is visible on the rack with text showing “Immersion Cooling Technology”.
(0:24) Video footage: A close-up of the woman's gloved hands is adjusting the server rack’s location within Shell’s immersion cool technology liquid. Blue light illuminates the liquid and scene.
(0:25) Narrator: Today and tomorrow.
(0:26) Video footage: A woman stands confidently in front of a large yellow Shell logo backdrop, flanked by two large stage lights. A montage of the various workers who utilize Shell technology stand in front of the Shell logo rolls as the camera view widens.

*Reduction in full lifecycle carbon emissions when used neat, compared with conventional jet aviation fuel. Source: IATA. Availability of SAF and delivery method vary by location.
**Currently, SAF can be blended up to 50% by volume with conventional jet fuel. Global SAF production is expected to reach 0.7% of global aviation fuel consumption in 2025. Source IATA
***Compared to air cooling, single-phase immersion cooling offers up to 48% reduction in electricity usage. Figures based on “Global immersion cooling market in data centres – Growth, trends and forecast (2019-2024),” report (Modor Intelligence) and Shell’s internal evaluation. The benefits achieved will vary according to the actual site development.
****The Renewable Race Fuel is blended from components derived from bio-waste that meet the renewable fuel definition in the Renewable Fuel Standard. The definition for renewable fuel can be found here: eCFR :: 40 CFR Part 80 Subpart M -- Renewable Fuel Standard. The Renewable Race Fuel is not available at Shell retail stations.
