Shell subsidiary Savion to streamline five U.S. solar projects through joint venture

Houston - Savion Equity, LLC, a subsidiary of Shell plc, and a fund managed by the Ares Infrastructure Opportunities strategy (Ares), today announced the formation of Tango Holdings, LLC (Tango), a joint venture that will manage 496 megawatts of Savion-developed solar projects in Ohio, Kentucky, Oklahoma, and Indiana. Savion is transferring majority ownership of five solar assets into this joint venture.

Shell EVP Gulf of America appointed President, Shell USA

Houston - Gretchen Watkins, President, Shell USA since July 1, 2018, will step down, effective July 31, 2025, after seven years in role.

Colette Hirstius, currently Executive Vice President, Gulf of America, will take on the responsibility of President, Shell USA, in addition to her current role as Executive Vice President, Gulf of America, effective August 1, 2025.

Shell completes acquisition of working interest in the Ursa platform in Gulf of America

Houston − Shell Offshore Inc. and Shell Pipeline Company (SPLC), subsidiaries of Shell plc (Shell), have completed the previously announced agreement to increase their stake in the Ursa platform in the Gulf of America from 45.3884% to 61.3484%.

Shell Expands Gulf of America leadership position with Dover development

Houston − Shell Offshore Inc. (Shell), a subsidiary of Shell plc, today announced the start of production at Dover, the second subsea tieback connecting new wells to the existing infrastructure of the Shell-operated Appomattox production hub in the Gulf of America. Dover brings an estimated peak production of 20,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

Shell to sell interest in Colonial Enterprises Inc. to Brookfield subsidiary

Houston − Shell Midstream Operating LLC (SMUS), a subsidiary of Shell plc (“Shell”), has agreed to sell its 16.125% interest in Colonial Enterprises, Inc. (“Colonial”) to Colossus AcquireCo LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. and its institutional partners (collectively, “Brookfield”), for $1.45 billion.

Shell to grow working interest in the Ursa platform in Gulf of America

Houston − Shell Offshore Inc. and Shell Pipeline Company (SPLC), subsidiaries of Shell plc (Shell), have signed an agreement to increase their stake in the Ursa platform in the Gulf of America.

Shell starts production at Whale in the US Gulf of Mexico

Houston − Shell Offshore Inc. (Shell), a subsidiary of Shell plc, announced that production has started at the Shell-operated Whale floating production facility in the Gulf of Mexico. Whale replicates the simplified, cost-efficient host design of the Vito platform, which began production in early 2023. The Whale development is owned by Shell Offshore Inc. (60%, operator) and Chevron U.S.A. Inc. (40%).
