In a Geomatics position at Shell you’ll work on some of the most critical projects in our portfolio.

The Shell Graduate Program

Meeting the world’s complex energy challenges requires innovative thinking and cutting-edge technology. In the Technical area of the Shell Graduate Program for Geomatics you’ll experience a three-year blended learning program designed to combine on-the-job development with structured training and fieldwork. Not only will it introduce you to the full scope of Shell’s Geomatics operations, it will enable you to actively build your networks across the organization. During the Program, you'll have the opportunity to rotate between roles, ensuring you are exposed to a wide variety of experiences that support your future career development.

Geomatics

A career in Geomatics means you will make critical contributions to Shell’s global Upstream business, and join a team of around 300 professionals spanning 23 countries. Geomatics leverages the value of geo-information to support many of Shell’s highest priority projects across the entire Upstream lifecycle. It includes the fields of onshore and offshore surveying, geo-information management analysis and mapping using Geographical Information System (GIS) software, on and offshore positioning, geodesy and remote sensing.
