Tropical Storm Sally - Shell Deepwater Gulf of Mexico Update #1

(ISSUED at 10:30 AM CST) Shell is monitoring Tropical Storm Sally for potential impacts to our assets and operations in the Gulf of Mexico.

As a precautionary measure, we are securing drilling operations for some rigs in preparation for potentially severe weather. At this time, there are no impacts to production and all personnel remain aboard our assets.

As always, the safety of our people, the environment and our assets are Shell’s top priority.
