Get ready and run for education

It’s time again to lace up your tennis shoes and get ready for the 12^th Annual Strides For Schools 5K Fun Run/Walk presented by Shell Deer Park benefitting the Deer Park Education Foundation.

This year’s event has an in-person, virtual and shirt-only registration option. The in-person race event is scheduled for Saturday, April 17^th, with the race starting at 8:15am from the home side of the Clyde Abshier Stadium parking lot.

Online registration is open at:www.stridesforschools.com – Student $15, Adults $25, Virtual $20 and Adult Shirt Only $18. Participant will receive a race dri-fit shirt, towel and mask. As a bonus, each participant will also receive two raffle tickets to enter to win door prizes including, a $200 VISA Gift Card, 40” flat screen TV, Nintendo switch lite, gift baskets and more.

Shell is matching all registrations and is hosting the Campus Challenge which will reward the elementary and the junior high with the most registrations with a $1,000 prize. The high school club or organization at North campus and South campus with the most registrations will each win $500.
