Shell President Discusses Energy with UPenn Students

On March 3, the Penn Wharton Public Policy Initiative collaborated with the University of Pennsylvania’s Kleinman Center for Energy Policy to host Shell Oil Co. President Marvin Odum for a discussion about the energy transition.
Shell Oil Co. President Marvin Odum recently spoke with students and faculty at the University of Pennsylvania’s Kleinman Center for Energy Policy about the energy transition, the need for collaboration and the key role that future leaders must play to ensure a secure energy future.
During the public forum on March 3, he said, “The world is adding the equivalent of a city of over a million people per week for the next 30 years. How much energy use is associated with that type of growth?”
