Shell Rotella® T5 Synthetic Blend Heavy Duty Engine Oil combines synthetic base oils and advanced additives to deliver excellent protection, even at low temperatures where the enhanced cold-flow properties help protect your engine.
Shell PurePlus™ is a 99.5% pure base oil made from natural gas through a Shell patented process. Triple Protection Plus™ means protection against wear, deposits, and oil breakdown plus better low temperature flow which delivers excellent equipment protection, long engine life and maintains viscosity control under high temperatures.

In extensive real-world field testing, over 500,000 miles and with long drain intervals, Shell ROTELLA® T5 10W-30 Synthetic Blend proved that a thinner viscosity can protect as well as Shell ROTELLA® T4 Triple Protection® heavy duty engine oil 15W-40. It also shows improved wear protection vs. the previous generation (CJ-4) of Shell ROTELLA® T5 10W-30 Synthetic Blend Technology.

Shell ROTELLA® T5 Ultra 10w30 (FA-4)
The next generation of heavy duty diesel engine oils is here. Engine manufacturers sought a new diesel engine oil that would provide improved fuel economy over existing oils. The API FA-4 performance standard requires the oil to be blended to a thinner viscosity, which helps improve fuel economy and lower emissions*. Shell ROTELLA® T5 Ultra 10W-30 meets and exceeds the new performance standard without sacrificing engine protection.
