Since 2021, the Giving Pump at Shell has been fueling the communities where we live and operate. By filling up at the purple pump, you help fuel kindness and provide meaningful support to charities that make a real difference in our communities.
Charities Making a Difference
The Giving Pump supports local and national charities dedicated to helping children and families. From food banks to cancer treatment centers, these organizations play a vital role in our communities. When you choose The Giving Pump, every fill-uphelps them continue their work and strengthen the places we call home.
Participating Locations
From Sept 1st thought Oct. 31st, more than 6500 Shell stations across 47 states take part in The Giving Pump. Use the station locator below or the Shell app to find one near you.
Fill Up for the Same Price
Fueling at the Giving Pump, costs exactly the same as any other pumps at the station. You can still use your Fuel Rewards® discounts at The Giving Pump, just as you would at any other Shell pump. The only difference? A portion of your purchase help support charities for children and families.
How charities are selected
Shell fuel wholesalers or station owners select the charity they want to support. They will donate directly to those charities at the end of the promotion period.

How to use The Giving Pump
- Step 1: From Sept. 1 through Oct. 31, find a participating Shell Station using the locator below or the Shell App.
- Step 2: When you arrive, look for the purple Giving Pump (as seen on the right). It’s priced exactly the same as all other pumps.
- Step 3: Simply fill up at The Giving Pump, and a portion of your purchase will be donated by Shell stations owners to charities supporting children and families.
Participating Shell wholesalers and station owners will donate a minimum of 1 cent per gallon of the fuel pumped from The Giving Pump from 9/1/25–10/31/25 or a minimum donation of $300. You pay no additional cost for the fuel, and your purchase is not tax deductible.
