She firmly believes that personal happiness is pivotal to leading a fulfilling life, which is why she emphasizes self-understanding in her practice.

In addition to her clinical caseload, Lori serves as an expert witness in Louisiana state courts, offering mental health recommendations for clients navigating legal challenges.

Lori holds a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

As the founder and CEO of A Cut Above Lawn and Landscaping, Kyle Nugent is committed to transforming outdoor spaces into lush, vibrant environments that bring joy to all who inhabit them. With a passion for the industry dating back to his high school years, Kyle's journey began with a humble push mower and a dedication to quality service. After temporarily stepping away to pursue other opportunities, Kyle reignited his entrepreneurial spirit in 2020 with the establishment of A Cut Above Lawn and Landscaping.

Ana Batista Borden is the Owner and Principal Architect of AMB2 Architecture, LLC, a licensed Architect in Louisiana, and a LEED AP BD+C who holds a master’s in architecture from Tulane University's School of Architecture.

With a diverse portfolio spanning 25 years, Ana has cultivated expertise in southeast Louisiana and the Chicago metropolitan area. Throughout her career, Ana has designed and overseen commercial, educational, hospitality, and medical projects from design through construction administration for many esteemed entities. Ana is known for her work in custom luxury residences and historic preservation. Her projects are celebrated for their aesthetic appeal, meticulous attention to detail, and innovative design strategies.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, AMB2 Architecture, LLC specializes in new construction, additions, and building revitalization. Her firm also embodies Ana's mission to create dynamic designs that reflect clients' goals, blending material ingenuity with thoughtful detailing, and honoring the past while embracing the future.

Bayou Trimlight

Driven by his lifelong passion for illuminating spaces, Christopher Switzer launched Bayou Trimlight in January 2022. As a deputy in St. Charles Parish with expertise in Electronics and Graphics, Christopher honed his skills in vehicle transformation before immersing himself in the realm of permanent holiday lighting.

What began as a weekend hobby swiftly blossomed into a thriving enterprise offering professional services that alleviate homeowners' burdens, allowing them to focus on other priorities. Beyond business achievements, Christopher derives fulfillment from community engagement and supporting various causes, underscoring his dedication to effecting positive change.

A native of Luling, Christopher takes immense pride in enhancing homes and businesses in the area. Supported by his wife, their six children, and their beloved Goldendoodle, Christopher navigates the entrepreneurial landscape with steadfast commitment, finding joy in both the expansion of his company and the deepening connections forged within the community.

Building Brewers Construction

Driven by his passion for construction and keen estimation skills, Sebastian Ortiz launched Building Brewers Construction in August 2022. A former restaurateur turned estimator, Sebastian recognized an opportunity to leverage his expertise in a new field. With a degree in Industrial Engineering and a background in managing projects of diverse scales, Sebastian swiftly made his mark in the construction industry.

Partnering up with family member Christian Pazos, Sebastian embarked on a journey of entrepreneurship, spearheading projects ranging from essential repairs for City Park to structural enhancements for multi-family properties. His commitment to excellence and innovative approach have fueled the rapid growth of Building Brewers Construction.

Drawing inspiration from his Colombian roots, Sebastian is dedicated to expanding the company's reach and diversifying its portfolio. With plans to venture into residential projects and leverage digital platforms for enhanced visibility, Sebastian continues to drive his company towards new heights.

Chapeaux LLC

Karla Coreil and Jenn Loftin have experience handcrafting hats and fascinators for more than a decade. They launched Chapeaux LLC in 2022, extending their millinery expertise to the public through custom headpieces and couture crafting experiences.

Their innovative designs have captured the attention of local media outlets, and their clientele spans from Louisiana to Seattle and New York City. Chapeaux's bespoke creations have graced international cities like London, Budapest, and Paris, as well as national events such as the Baton Rouge Symphony League’s Mad Hatters, Mardi Gras celebrations, and prestigious galas. Their hats have also made appearances at renowned events like Del Mar Opening Day and the Kentucky Derby.

In addition to their global presence, Chapeaux actively collaborates with local community organizations such as the Baton Rouge Gallery and the LSU Textile & Costume Museum, solidifying their status as premier milliners deeply rooted in their community.

Geaux Ride

Charles Daniel, a former Corporate Data Analyst, transformed his personal quest for mental well-being into a thriving small business: Geaux Ride. Inspired by the joy of cycling in New Orleans, he launched his business with 10 bikes. In just seven years, Geaux Ride has become a cornerstone of the Louisiana community, promoting mental health, exercise, and unique experiences.

As a proud Black-owned business, Geaux Ride encourages exploration on two wheels, offering safe transportation and promoting sustainability. Services include guided tours and rentals for all ages and skill levels. Committed to giving back, Geaux Ride partners with local organizations, donating a portion of profits to charity.

Charles aims to foster nationwide health and wellness, particularly in underserved communities, through cycling initiatives.

iCAN Technologies Inc.

David Decuir, a Lafayette, Louisiana native, serves as the visionary CEO and President of iCAN Technologies Inc. With more than 15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, David identified a significant gap in workforce training and competency. This realization inspired the creation of iCAN, a groundbreaking platform revolutionizing employee development.

iCAN stands out as a comprehensive solution for training and competency, setting new industry standards by integrating industry benchmarks and cutting-edge Generative AI technology. David holds a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering technology and an MBA from Nicholls State University.

Paul Laugand is the owner and manager of It's Playtime NOLA, a prominent games rental service in the NOLA Metro area. Collaborating with companies and diverse organizations, he fosters positive social interactions through play, team building, and enhancing workplace culture.

With nearly two decades of experience as an educator and youth mentor in the Orleans Parish School System, Paul brings a wealth of expertise to his current role. He holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Southern University at New Orleans.

Outside of work, Paul is an avid reader, podcast enthusiast, and devoted supporter of his local sports teams. He treasures spending quality time with his wife and five children in his free time.

Phoenix Prodigy Consulting Firm LLC

Latasha R. Glass, the visionary force behind Phoenix Prodigy Consulting Firm, epitomizes resilience and entrepreneurial spirit. Despite enduring a stroke, she pursued her BBA in business administration with a specialization in human resources while hospitalized, demonstrating unwavering determination.

Driven by her passion for helping others and providing for her family, Latasha founded Phoenix Prodigy Consulting Firm to empower transportation industry entrepreneurs. As a devoted mother of two daughters, she mentors young leaders, nurturing their entrepreneurial aspirations.

Rocky Ortego founded Red Bison Services, LLC (RBS) in 2015 to deliver premier construction and program management services. Graduating with honors in Construction Management from Louisiana State University, Rocky accumulated extensive experience in multi-million-dollar projects across South Louisiana before assuming roles such as Building Construction Manager in the Oil and Gas industry.

Before establishing RBS, Rocky served as Vice President of Construction for a firm specializing in Industrial and Federal projects, contributing to their success in programs like the 8(a) and HUBZone. Currently, Rocky directs RBS's Business Operations and Pre-Construction, leveraging his expertise in Construction and Small Business Programs.

Sweet Kraving Donuts

Alycia Johnson is the owner of Sweet Kraving Donuts, a mobile breakfast food establishment serving high-quality gourmet pastries in Vacherie and Gray, LA. Established in 2019, Sweet Kraving Donuts has been satisfying cravings across the Tri-Parish Area.

Alycia, a serial entrepreneur with ventures in retail, e-commerce, bakery, real estate, and more, was inspired to start the business after traveling and experiencing famous foods from different states. Recognizing the opportunity, she introduced the community to its first donut delivery service, delivering warm and fresh donuts directly to customers' doors.

The community's overwhelming support led Sweet Kraving Donuts to join The Chamber of Commerce and gain recognition in the local paper. As the first donut food truck in the area, Sweet Kraving Donuts has expanded its menu in recent years to include chicken and waffles, beignets, and coffee.

Co-founded in 2022 by Tatiana Alaniz and her mother, Maria Rodriguez, A1 Nola Notary is dedicated to serving Louisiana's Hispanic community with affordable, accessible, and high-quality notary and legal translation services.

Leveraging Tatiana's 16 years of paralegal experience, the company excels in bridging language and hospitality gaps. Specializing in a wide range of services, including affidavits, mandates, Last Will and Testament, Small Successions, travel authorizations, and certified translations, Tatiana offers expertise in Spanish mandates for various processes across multiple countries. A1 Nola Notary also provides Apostille authentication services and Wedding Officiant services and plans to expand into a public tag agency and auto title company.

Anointed Hands Trichology Center for Hair Loss, LLC

Ynohtna Tureaud is a hair care and scalp specialist with more than two decades hair care experience and 13 years of trichology experience. Inspired by her childhood dream of making a difference in the hair and wellness industry, Ynohtna currently owns and operates Anointed Hands Trichology Center for Hair Loss, which services patients who suffer from alopecia and scalp disorders.

Ynohtna holds certifications in Medical Wig Installation, Non-Surgical Hair Replacement, and Laser Phototherapy. Dr. Channing Parfait is the founder and owner of Propel Learning, an academic and tutoring center for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. With a dedicated team of retired, practicing, and aspiring teachers, Propel Learning specializes in personalized one-on-one tutoring to meet each student's academic needs, covering concepts from phonics to trigonometry and chemistry.

In addition to his role at Propel Learning, Dr. Parfait serves as the assistant dean for the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences at Nicholls State University. He is actively involved in the education community, serving as president of the Lafourche Education Foundation Board and chairing the foundation’s Bayou King Cake Festival (now Louisiana King Cake Festival) for two years. Dr. Parfait also serves as a board member on the Nicholls Alumni Federation Board and previously taught middle school English Language Arts in Terrebonne, Lafourche, and Ascension Parishes.

Founded by teen entrepreneur Kaylee Davis and managed by her mother Tishia Boldene, Squeezy Fresh was created to revolutionize the health of their local community.

Kaylee, a ninth grader, developed a passion for nutrition and wellness due to her brother's rare epilepsy diagnosis and her own digestive issues. Tishia Boldene, a financial management expert with over two decades of experience, manages Squeezy Fresh's operational success and strategic growth, allowing Kaylee to focus on recipe creation, graphic design, and social media management. Together, this dynamic mother-daughter duo is sowing the seeds of a healthier and happier community.

Terence King founded the TAK Group in 2019, specializing in strategic live event management and festivals. With over 15 years of event production experience, Terence's journey began with a car show in 2008, followed by roles in event rental, production, and tour management.

Throughout his career, Terence has organized more than 90 events with renowned artists and overseen operations for prestigious events like the National Fried Chicken Festival and Top Taco Festivals.

Currently, as Owner and Director of Event Operations at the TAK Group, Terence contributes to the Shell LiveWIRE Louisiana 2024 Cohort and the 2024 American Heart Association Heart Walk Leadership Team.
