Shell Eco-marathon is back on track!
After a two-and-a-half-year hiatus due to COVID, Shell Eco-marathon returned to the United States on April 10 - 13. This year the event was held in a new location at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Home of the Indy 500, the track has an extensive history of innovation and leadership, and proved to be a trophy worthy venue for this year’s event.
Live from the track
Shell Eco-marathon is a platform for thousands of STEM students from around the world striving to develop future energy solutions to learn, adapt and create together.
This year at Shell Eco-marathon, teams from 45 universities and high schools from across the United States, Canada and Mexico joined together at the world-famous Indianapolis 500 track to compete with their ultra-energy efficient vehicles, which they designed and built themselves. Not only do we invest in future energy solutions by acquiring companies, we also invest in future energy leaders who are the engineers, scientists and business minds of the future.
