Shell Gift Cards

You can use Shell Gift Cards and eGift Cards can at participating Shell locations throughout the US, except in US territories. Valid locations include Shell gas stations, Shell convenience stores and associated car washes.

To use Shell eGift Cards, you simply need to download the Shell App, create a profile and add them. Find a nearby location that accepts mobile payments.

If you have a physical Shell Gift Card, you can use it at the pump by inserting the card as your payment method. You can also use your physical gift card to pay for items at a Shell convenience store or services at a Shell car wash.

If you have a digital Shell eGift Card, you’ll first need to download the Shell App and create a user profile. Then, simply add the eGift card to the app as a payment method and use it at the pump or in store for Shell stations that accept mobile payments. For pay-at-the-pump redemption, follow the instructions on the Shell App.

It depends on the type of card and transaction. For payments at the pump with physical cards, you can use the gift card to fill your vehicle to the amount remaining on the card, then top it off in a separate transaction with another form of payment. For in-store payments with a physical gift card, you’ll need to pay the difference between the card balance and the cost of your convenience items with another form of payment.

For eGift Cards, in-store transactions exceeding the balance on the card will be declined. You can’t combine an eGift card payment with another form of payment.

Shell Gift Cards can be reloaded if the front of the card says “Refillable Gift Card.” Reload your card

and enter the full card number and PIN on the back of the card.

Currently, Shell eGift Cards are not reloadable.

For security reasons, you should treat your physical card like cash and safeguard it at all times. Except in certain circumstances, the value on the card will not be replaced. Replacement fees may apply.

Shell eGift Cards can be shared with family and friends through the app and used at the pump or inside a Shell convenience store. By uploading the eGift Card to the Shell App, you can easily use the card’s funds to make direct payments from your phone. This eliminates the need to carry a physical gift card or cash when visiting a Shell location.
