Hurricane Francine - Update #8

(ISSUED AT 13:00 CST) Shell's Norco and Geismar facilities are in the process of returning to normal operations following Hurricane Francine.

During the storm, our Norco hydrocracker shut down due to a brief power outage but did not sustain any damage. We are keeping it shut-in ahead of a routine, planned turnaround, which has now been moved up. We will provide an update once the sites have returned to normal operating levels.

As always, the safety of our people, the environment and our assets is Shell’s top priority.
