10 a.m. Central Shell Upstream Americas - Deep Water Operations
(This information is up-to-date as of 10 a.m. Central, July 21st, 2010. Further updates will be provided as needed.)
Given the forecast for Tropical Disturbance #22, Shell has begun evacuating personnel not essential to producing and drilling operations in the Gulf of Mexico. Evacuations from our Eastern operations are beginning today.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and respond to further developments, including impacts to our drilling and production operations.
