(This information is up-to-date as of 12 p.m. Central June 30, 2010, Further updates will be provided as needed.)

Shell concluded evacuations of our Central and Western Gulf of Mexico operations yesterday, bringing another approximately 30 personnel to shore.  The total number of evacuated personnel is approximately 930.  Remaining personnel offshore is 605 and current plans are to allow them to remain offshore because they are not in the projected path of the storm.

Given the evacuation of personnel and continued storm forecast, production has also been shut in from our South Texas operations.

We will continue to monitor this system closely and respond to further developments.  We now begin  planning the safe redeployment of personnel and production ramp-up.

The information on this site will be updated as necessary.

NOTES AND DISCLAIMERS: Shell-specific production shut-in numbers are not issued externally. You can contact the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation, and Enforcement (BOEMRE) for overall Gulf of Mexico shut-in status, as of the previous day.
