Jul 01, 2010
10 a.m. Central Upstream Americas - Deep Water
(This information is up-to-date as of 10 a.m. Central July 2, 2010, Further updates will be provided as needed.)
Shell is redeploying personnel and upon successful re-manning, production will begin to ramp-up in our central Gulf of Mexico Operations.
Once power and communications are restored, marine logistics support is established and the locations are deemed safe, then personnel are allowed to return to and remain on platforms and/or drilling rigs. They will then begin to restart production and recommence drilling activities. Production ramp up at each impacted facility will vary, but complete GOM production ramp up to pre-storm levels may take three to five days from first arrival.
The information on this site will be updated as necessary.
NOTES AND DISCLAIMERS: You can contact the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation, and Enforcement (BOEMRE) for overall Gulf of Mexico shut-in status, as of the previous day.(http://www.gomr.mms.gov/homepg/pubinfo/piindex.html)
