Remarkable People with Invisible Disabilities
October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month in the US and Canada. This is a great opportunity to raise public awareness about working with disabilities – whether visible or invisible – while showcasing how people with disabilities self-accommodate and achieve remarkable things!
Shell shared a few posts and tweets about remarkable famous people who are inspiring examples:
Agatha Christie: Dyslexia didn’t stop her from becoming one of the most remarkable authors in history.
Remarkable inventor Thomas Edison, undeterred by his hearing loss, revolutionized music with his invention of the phonograph.
