Why Commercial Roles are Critical

To many, Shell is an “engineering company”, but that is only half of our story. The expertise and support of our commercial business teams enable Shell to refine, transport, and deliver products to our customers around the world.

We rely on the brightest minds in business. To identify opportunities that drive innovation in new markets. To streamline logistics and scale global operations. And to be brand storytellers who ultimately drive sales. A world of opportunities exists within the commercial space at Shell, each playing a critical role in powering progress.

What is the Commercial Graduate Program?

The Shell Commercial Graduate Program is a multi-year journey within your chosen field of interest. You’ll participate in a comprehensive program that deepens your professionalism and ensures you’re equipped with the skills to successfully transition into a permanent role. In addition to hands-on experience, the Graduate Program provides a structured framework with formal learning and activities specific to your chosen business area.

The program consists of two  to three rotations across different areas of the business, with continuous support and feedback from mentors and supervisors. Upon completion, you will have the foundation of knowledge and training necessary to become a future leader.
