Industrial

In the industrial sector, packaging plays a critical role in protecting products, optimizing the supply chain and reducing shipping costs. High density polyethylene (HDPE) is widely used to produce items like blow-molded intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) due to its strength, durability, and ability to perform in extreme temperatures. At Shell Polymers, we work closely with converters to help ensure our polymers maintain quality through the production process—enabling better packaging and logistics for brands.

Industrial machinery

The plastics industry is competitive and keeping pace with packaging industry trends is crucial for growth. In our Shell Polymers 2025 Trend Report, we’ll explore trends, threats and opportunities for converters, including a look at shifts that affect the industrial market and packaging and logistics.
