We took customer input seriously before we even built our plant by spending 1,000 hours in the field listening to converters. We learned about their needs and concerns and used those ideas to drive our actions.
For instance, we built our new Monaca, Pennsylvania polyethylene plant and selected our state-of-the-art equipment based on what is used in the industry today. And we also developed our grade slate of LLDPE Resin (linear low-density polyethylene) and HDPE Resin (high-density polyethylene) based on customer recommendations regarding their polymer supply needs.
