Refinery Issue Stabilized

The Shell Emergency Response Team has successfully concluded responding to the incident.
Around 10:30am on Wednesday September 7th, the on-site process sewer system at the Shell Puget Sound Refinery experienced a process upset. As a precaution, non-essential refinery personnel were evacuated while the issue was being addressed. There were no injuries and there was no off-site impact.
The Shell Emergency Response Team has successfully concluded responding to the incident. All refinery personnel are now cleared to safely return to the refinery.
