Before working at Shell, I served as chief of staff for California State Assemblywoman Lynne Leach, who represented parts of the East Bay in the state Legislature. I also served as a gubernatorial appointee to the California Postsecondary Education Commission. I am a member of the Martinez Rotary Club, and I sit on the boards of the Contra Costa Council, the East Bay Regional Parks Foundation and the Dean & Margaret Lesher Foundation.

In my non-Shell time, I produce a speaker series, which brings a wide range of world leaders, entertainers and other subject matter experts to the East Bay for interactive lectures. I am a proud graduate of the University of Southern California (Fight On!), who is married to an equally devoted Cal Bear. I’m also an avid reader, a lover of documentary films and a passionate fan of the Oakland A’s (Let’s-Go-Oak-land!).

The most important part of my job at Shell is interacting with our neighbors and ensuring that Shell is a valued member of the community. I love hearing feedback from our neighbors, working with community groups and representing the refinery in any way I can. Don’t ever hesitate to pop me a note or stop me on the street if you ever have a question.
