Martinez Patch Covers Shell Martinez Refinery’s Website, Social Media Use
Mar 20, 2011
MartinezPatch.com has a new story on its site today about the Shell Martinez Refinery’s new efforts to share information, feature stories and news with our neighbors in the community. Patch Editor Jim Caroompas notes that we are trying “to let people in the city what is going on behind the fence line. And it turns out that there’s quite a lot going on.”
Caroompas gives examples such as the recent blog about our emergency response earlier this month to ensure that the tsunami from the Japan earthquake did not affect our operations, and about our employees receiving recognition for supporting troops overseas and painting buildings around Martinez.
