Shell Activity on Marina Vista Monday
Apr 05, 2012
Dear Friends, I wanted to let you know that, weather permitting, we will be doing a concrete pour this coming Monday, April 9 in the northern part of the refinery, north of Marina Vista.
We will have several trucks delivering concrete throughout the day. This work will not involve a street closure, but there will be extra traffic on Marina Vista as trucks come and go.
Our projects group has developed a plan to try and make this run as smoothly as possible, managing, staging and directing the trucks in an effort to minimize any impact. The work will be done during normal business hours, and will be re-scheduled in the event of rain.
After this pour is complete, there will be a second one in a couple of weeks. We will keep you posted on that work when it is confirmed.
If you have any questions or feedback about this activity, you can call our environmental hotline at (925) 313-3777.
As with all we do, we aim to complete this work without negatively impacting our neighbors. Please let us know if we fall short of that goal.
