Great CAP Meeting Tonight
Mar 08, 2011
We had a great meeting of our Community Advisory Panel tonight. Thanks to all who came and all who presented. We had apresentation on the city’s general plan from CAP Member Igor Skaredoff; a presentation about our new Shell Martinez website and blog from Erin Hallissy; an update on our crude tank project from Gordon Johnson and a great discussion on the CAP’s recent trip to hear former Shell President John Hofmeister speak in Sacramento.
We also had our usual refinery report from Shell General Manager Alicia Izarraraz, and our report on the Hazardous Materials Commission from CAP member Ralph Sattler.
Thanks to all who came for their candor and great feedback. You are a continued source of good ideas and advice, and we appreciate your help in our efforts to be the safest, most environmentally and community friendly facility we can be.
