Ho-Ho Pipeline Fully Reversed and Operational
Shell completed Phase 2 of its pipeline project to reverse the flow direction of the Houma-to-Houston (Ho-Ho) Pipeline. The pipeline has been renamed Houston-to-Houma (Ho-Ho) to reflect the current flow route.
Ho-Ho Reversal Project
Today, Shell completed Phase 2 of its project to reverse the flow direction of the Houma-to-Houston (Ho-Ho) Pipeline. The system now provides US Gulf Coast refineries pipeline access to additional sources of the growing crude production from the inland oil plays in the Eagle Ford, Bakken and other shale regions.
Phases 3 and 4 of the project will add pump stations to increase capacity of the Texas to Louisiana pipeline segments (20" and 22") to approximately 250,000 bpd and 375,000 bpd of crude oil, respectively. These capacities assume a medium crude type and standard batching. The final phases will be complete in early 2014
