Hurricane Harvey – Update Eight – Perdido Status Update

Shell safely restarted operations at its Perdido facility and is currently ramping up production.
Perdido is designed to safely withstand hurricane force conditions. The timely restart of production is a testament to the many Shell employees who took immediate action to keep each other, the environment and the facility safe in preparation for Hurricane Harvey.
Perdido has the capacity to process up to 100,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day when producing at peak rates.
Shell’s top priority is always the safety our people, the environment and our assets.
