Motiva and its wholesalers are closely monitoring Hurricane Isaac to ensure independent Shell-branded stations are prepared for landfall. Shell-branded retail sites in mandatory evacuation areas have begun to close in compliance with the evacuation order. As always, safety is the number one priority and as the storm continues to make landfall, additional stations may close to ensure the safety of the site employees and customers. Once the storm has passed, reopening stations will begin as soon as it is safe to do so.

Motiva has a history of being sensitive to price changes during significant events, such as hurricanes, and works actively to prevent price gouging. If you feel a station is charging a price that is out of line in the market, please contact your local or state government agency designed specifically to handle this information and provide them with that address.
