SERVE Volunteers
Home repair projects are one of many community volunteer projects undertaken by Shell Deer Park SERVE volunteers. Their distinctive yellow t-shirts have become a proud symbol of public service throughout the Houston area.
Shell Deer Park SERVE community projects include:
- Work with the Deer Park High School's industrial trades class to conduct home repair projects for low-income Deer Park residents
- Help deliver Meals On Wheels to elderly and homebound North Shore community residents
- Pick up litter and work on environmental projects at the San Jacinto Monument and the Armand Bayou Nature Center
- Give "Cool Careers" presentations to Deer Park High School students
- Build a walking track for the Center for the Retarded in Houston
