Quaker State Driver Holds down Fourth Position in Championship Standings

Kinser

After taking a well-deserved weekend off, the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series returned to action at Lone Star Speedway in Texas for one night of racing. Kinser continued his strong season by taking the checkered flag in the third position in the feature event. The 20-time champion remains in the fourth position in the championship point standings going into the final race weekend of the season in a couple of weeks.

After qualifying the Quaker State Maxim in the 12th position, the Bloomington, Indiana native won his heat race advancing himself into the Crane Cams Dash. The six-lap shootout used to determine the first 10 starting positions of the A-feature yielded a fourth-place finish for the Quaker State driver.

Starting from the second row, Kinser recovered from getting completely sideways in turn two of the opening lap of the A-feature to finish in the third position.
The World of Outlaws will again take another weekend off before capping off a busy season with the third annual World Finals at The Dirt Track at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. Qualifying begins on Thursday, November 5 with racing action lasting through Saturday night.
