Coppola Joins Shell Energy North America

Coppola Joins Shell Energy North America as General Manager Midwest Marketing. Company establishes Chicago office.
Houston â Shell Energy North America (US), L.P. (Shell Energy North America), the Shell subsidiary that provides a comprehensive portfolio of energy-related products and services associated with natural gas and power marketing and trading, today announced the opening of its new regional marketing office in Chicago. The company also announced that Andrew V. Coppola has joined the company and will lead the office as its general manager.
âWith customer service as our number one priority, itâs important for us to establish an office in Chicago to effectively service our rapidly expanding customer base in the vital Midwest region. Andyâs wealth of knowledge and expertise in managing trading, marketing, structured partnership transactions and risk management strategies, particularly in this region, is a valuable asset to the team,â said Ken Snodgrass, Shell Energy North Americaâs senior vice president of the North region. âWe are pleased to have him join the company.â
Coppola most recently served as president of AC Energy LLC, an energy management company specializing in utilities, and large commercial and industrial customers. He has more than 25 years of direct industry experience including managing detailed, structured transactions in energy marketing and trading for wholesale, commercial and industrial, and retail customer choice areas. Coppola also has extensive experience in strategic development and risk mitigation plans.
During his career, Coppola has been involved with the development and successful growth of four energy-marketing companies. He has implemented and managed multiple strategic partnerships designed to increase product offerings and asset bases to best serve customer needs.
