Shell Rotell® T adds Spanish to its www.rotella.com website

The makers of Shell ROTELLA® T Heavy Duty Multigrade Engine Oil have added a Spanish language link to their popular website, ROTELLA.com. A simple click of the Español icon on the Shell ROTELLA® home page immediately converts the entire site to Spanish.

“We added the Spanish language option to better serve our customers,” said Patty Lanning, manager transport group marketing for Shell ROTELLA® T. “We are fortunate to have such a diverse group of customers, and we want to ensure that we provide our customers with a positive on-line experience that offers them the product information that they are looking to find no matter what language they speak, English or Spanish.”

ROTELLA.com, which was redesigned with the addition of several new features and graphics in June of last year, provides customers with timely updates on all Shell ROTELLA® products, as well as information on promotions, giveaways and special events.

Additional site highlights at http://www.rotella.com, include:

  • A Question and Answer forum where visitors can submit inquiries and receive answers to help address a variety of lubrication related issues.
  • A Truck of the Month contest where visitors can submit photos and information on their favorite vehicles, with the chance to win a variety of prizes.
  • Links to relevant industry-related websites, including truck stops, travel centers and oil change facilities.
  • A forum menu that allows visitors the opportunity to discuss a wide assortment of industry trends and topics; and a polls and survey section to voice opinions on key lubrication topics and other issues of interest.

Shell ROTELLA® T has been tested and passed all tests required to be qualified against the following performance specifications: API-CI-4 PLUS, API CI-4, Caterpillar ECF-1, Cummins 20078, Mack EO-N Premium Plus 03, Mercedes-Benz 228.3 and Volvo VDS-3. By meeting or exceeding the specifications listed, Shell ROTELLA® T meets the warranty requirements for all major diesel engine manufacturers. Shell ROTELLA® T was formulated with select additives and base oils so that it would pass the performance tests and specifications listed above.
