Royal Dutch Petroleum Company marks 50 years on the NYSE

Jeroen van der Veer, President of Royal Dutch Petroleum Company and Chairman of the Committee of Managing Directors of the Royal Dutch/Shell Group of Companies, rang The Opening Bell (SM) on Tuesday, August 3, 2004, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Royal Dutch Petroleum Company (RD) listing on the Exchange. Various NYSE officials joined Shell executives for the ceremony.
