Corporate generosity provides family first Christmas in new home

Shell Reschedules Shut Down At Mars For Flex Joint Replacement
Shell Exploration & Production Company (Shell) announced today that it would shut down the Mars tension leg platform (TLP) late in the first quarter of 2005 rather than the previously announced November 4, 2004 date. The rescheduled shut down is for the purpose of replacing the flexjoints on both its oil and natural gas export lines.

Partnership with the Lions Club of Norco Cans for Sight program
Shell Norco, Motiva Norco and RPP, are participating in a partnership with the Lions Club of Norco Cans for Sight program to recycle and sell aluminum cans. According to Shell employee Morgan Gregoire, a member of Norco's Recycling Team, all aluminum cans collected at the industrial sites are donated and transported to a Lions Club collection bin. Profits from the sale of the cans are used for a variety of charitable works including funding for eye exams, eyeglasses and eye surgery for those in need.

NEW ORLEANS - Shell Exploration & Production Company (Shell) announced today that it will shut down the Mars tension leg platform (TLP) on November 4, 2004 to replace the flexjoints on both its oil and natural gas export lines. It is expected that this operation should take approximately two weeks.

Shell completes sale of major refined products pipeline systems: asset sales To Buckeye and Magellan valued at $1 Billion
Shell Oil Products US announced today that it has completed the sale of the company's Mid-Continent refined products pipeline system to Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P., and the sale of the company's Midwest refined products pipeline system to Buckeye Partners, L.P. Shell has received proceeds from the two transactions totaling just over $1 billion.

Shell Solar To Provide Backup Power For Athens City-County Health Department
Shell Solar and one of its solar contractors, Third Sun Solar and Wind Power, announced today that they have completed installation of 20 photovoltaic (solar) panels at the Athens City-County Health Department in Ohio.
