Depending on your particular role, you could be involved in:

Monitoring unit operations and performing necessary troubleshooting· Active participation in Accident/Incident reporting and investigations as required· Ensuring the appropriate focus is given to safety and environmental considerations during any activity

Operator/Process Technician

As an operator/process technician, you'll control, monitor and troubleshoot equipment. Your strong oral and written communication skills will enable you to work effectively in a team environment and update oncoming crews at shift changes, maintain data logs and prepare reports and other materials.

Instrumentation Technician

Just as the gauges on the dashboard allow you to control the operation of your car and alert you if something is wrong, instruments in the field enable technicians to control, measure and record the processes for making chemicals or producing oil and gas. You'll be involved in installing, maintaining, repairing and adjusting these instruments and helping develop plans for making them more reliable.
