USHCC 34th National Convention

The USHCC Annual National Convention is the largest gathering of Hispanic business leaders in America.  The 34th Annual National Convention features several awards banquets, networking receptions, and business development workshops, bringing together over 5,000 Hispanic business owners, corporate executives, chamber leaders, and public officials.

Shell’s Long-Standing Relationship with USHCC

Founded in 1979, the USHCC actively promotes the economic growth and development of Hispanic entrepreneurs and represents the interests of more than two million Hispanic-owned businesses in the United States, which earn more than $500 billion annually. It also serves as the umbrella organization for 200 local Hispanic chambers in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico.

Shell has been a member of the USHCC for a number of years.  Over the past 3 years Shell has revised our strategy to focus on ERG Best Practices development, 1st and 2nd Tier Supplier Connections, Capacity Building programming and recognition of impact from suppliers.

Furthermore, Shell will work with the USHCC to develop and increase its “advocacy” for energy. Shell is active in the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (HHCC), New Orleans Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (NOHCC), San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SAHCC) and Greater Pittsburgh Area Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GPAHCC).
