Workforce Development Initiative's STEM Programs and Resources
The Shell Workforce Development Initiative (WDI) supports a variety of Shell STEM programs and resources to bring awareness to students, parents and teachers on the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
Shell WDI is viewed both internally/externally as an integral partner and leader in building a diverse skilled talent pipeline.
We promote workforce development by building the pipeline to provide access to diverse talent.
By investing Shell’s resources in strategic programs, outreach activities and partnerships, we accomplish Shell’s objectives and address community needs.
We create value through
- Partnering/leveraging with Shell businesses and external associations & organizations (business, education, government and industry)
- Developing and implementing strategies that focus on workforce solutions
- Linking separate but related objectives of SI, HR, CP and D&I across all Shell businesses to promote sustainable development
