At this time, we have been in contact with all of our wholesalers and are pleased to report they are safe.

Shell and Motiva are working around-the-clock to safely restore affected terminals and get product to market. With all New York borough terminals still down, we are coordinating with other suppliers in the marketplace to develop additional product sources and moving product to those supply points closest to the impacted areas.

Stations in high-impact areas are still under assessment where it is safe to do so. The outcome of these assessments will determine the timeline for a return to operations.

As of 8:00 a.m. Central, the status of the Shell-branded network in the most heavily impacted areas is estimated as follows: 84% open in Connecticut, 47% open in New Jersey, 62% open in New York and 83% open in Pennsylvania. For surrounding states along the East Coast, our analysis indicates that approximately 98% of our sites are open for business.

Stations continue to come back online as safety checks are complete, power is restored, and employees return. Initial reports indicate damage is primarily limited to the storm surge areas, however many stations remain closed due to power outages.

Our wholesalers are making fuel deliveries to Shell-branded stations as quickly as possible as they reopen. As always, the safety of employees, wholesalers and consumers is our first priority.
