Energy Industry Needs to be Upfront and Transparent

Marvin Odum sat down with CBC’s Peter Mansbridge to discuss an array of energy topics, emphasizing the links between energy and climate change, and the challenge of communicating the energy future.

On a weekly 30-minute program hosted by Peter Mansbridge, Odum discussed Shell's commitment to reducing carbon dioxide emissions, issues associated with oil sands development, and the need for industry to do more to keep the public informed.

“There are a lot of challenges out there -- around supply, environmental issues -- and we believe it’s very important to be upfront about that and work on solving those problems,” Odum said.
