No. 22 car wraps up April with 811 logos at Richmond race

The No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Dodge will carry the 811 logo under the lights in Richmond, wrapping up National Safe Digging Month and a concentrated effort by Shell, the Common Ground Alliance and Penske Racing to raise awareness for 811, the national “Call Before You Dig” hotline.

But, due to the program’s success in this and previous seasons, the partnership will expand this year, and the car will feature the 811 logo again during the Watkins Glen race, as part of National 811 Day on August 11 and during the final race of the season in Miami.

In the meantime, remember: every digging project requires a call to 811 – even small projects like planting trees or shrubs.
