Shell Deer Park Dredging Project Notification
These activities will involve both dredging of the basin and removal and transport of residual sediment by truck.
Approximately 50 dump trucks per day will be entering and exiting Shell Deer Park during this project. Using a temporary scale gate on the west side of our facility, the trucks will follow a prescribed route along the westbound feeder road of State Highway 225 to Beltway 8 southbound for delivery to a third-party location.
Trucks will be traveling from Monday – Thursday between 6:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The estimated duration of the project will be three months.
Because of the increased number of vehicles required to perform this project, please note the additional traffic congestion expected along the route.
Although we anticipate the impact of these activities to be minimal to the community, we are sensitive to any disruptions and appreciate your patience and understanding.
