Shell on Wheels Rides Strong against Cancer
A small army of Shell on Wheels riders participated in two charity events to raise money in the fight against cancer.
Bikers Against Breast Cancer for The Rose
The first was Bikers Against Breast Cancer on May 7th which benefited The Rose, a non-profit breast cancer organization which provides free screening and diagnostic procedures to low-income and uninsured women as well as outreach and education. Shell was part of this popular event which attracted almost 400 bikes, 86 ghost riders and 600 participants and volunteers and raised over $50,000.

The escorted ride kicked off at the San Jacinto Harley-Davidson and ended at Beltway 8 near Fairmont.
Event chairs from the Rose commented, "We are very fortunate to have individuals and companies in the community like Shell who believe in the mission of the Rose and support us in so many ways...it was so awesome having Shell on Wheels here!"
Ride for Life benefiting M.D. Anderson
Earlier this month, Shell on Wheels continued its support of critical healthcare issues by proudly joining the Ride for Life which supported M.D. Anderson's annual patient and caregiver conference and commemorated National Cancer Survivor's Day.
Another police-escorted ride, Shell on Wheels met at the site and motored to the ride which started and finished at Stubbs Harley-Davidson.
